Ervan Glenn Case, 75, Columbia, KY (1945-2021) Ervan Glenn Case of Columbia passed away on Wednesday, September 15, 2021, at Creekwood Nursing and Rehab Center in Russellville, KY. He was 75 years old. Funeral services will be held at NoonET on Monday, September 20, 2021, at McFarland Funeral Chapel, 54 McFarland Drive Hwy. 108, Tryon, NC, with burial to follow in the Polk Memorial Gardens in Tryon, NC. Visitation will be at McFarland Funeral Chapel from 10amET until time for the service on Monday. Local visitation will be on Saturday, September 18, 2021, from 10amCT until 2pmCT at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home, 210 Greensburg St., Columbia, KY. He was born in Miami Beach, FL on October 25, 1945 to the late J. C. and Rosie Jackson Case. Mr. Case was a member of the Church of God in Hayesville, NC and was recently attending the Bernard Ridge Church of God. He served as Pastor for many Church of God congregations in the North Carolina area before retiring to Kentucky. He enjoyed gardening and doing all kinds of yard work. Survivors include his wife Penny Case of Columbia, KY; two children Lisa Jenene Earl (Martin S.) of Sturgis, SD and Tony D. Case of Columbia, KY; two grandchildren Samuel J. Earl of Sioux Falls, SD and Rachel E. Earl of Pensacola, FL and four siblings Bobby J. Case of Lynn NC, Alvin Case of Greenville, SC, Calvin Case (Nancy) of Hendersonville, NC and Billy Joe Hurley of Lynn, NC. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by two brothers Horace Wayne and Joe Alton Case. Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home is in charge of local arrangements.
