Burials listed in the Brawner-Smith Cemetery By Mike Watson These are the listed burials at the Brawner-Smith cemetery that is of interest to a CM reader a few days ago. Many people can trace their lineage to those early Adair Countians buried here, and many have researched these families, particularly the Brawner, Speak and Smith families. These three pages of the transcription are taken from Cemeteries of Adair County, Kentucky, volume 5, pages 99-101, compiled and printed in 1986. The Adair County Genealogy and History Research Center, 307 Greensburg Road, Columbia, KY, has the complete set of published cemetery records--8 volumes at present--as well as family files, including the name listed in this and other cemeteries. Note: The text listing below was generated using Optical Character Recognition, and should be verified with the original. Hopefully, it will make it easier to search for these names in the future. Brawner Smith It is located on a side road that is on Pelley Lane.
