Columbia-Adair County C of C INSIGHTS April 2005: Banquet is April 14
The Columbia-Adair Count Chamber of Commerce will have their annual banquet Thursday, April 14 beginning at 6:30 pm at Lindsey Wilson College's Cranmer Dining Center. You won't want to miss this occasion. You'll enjoy a great meal, hear an outstanding speaker, Adair County native, Audrey Tayse Haynes; see deserving people recognized with awards; hear good entertainment and have an opportunity to win special door prizes. There will be two new features this year. First, every person in attendance will receive a door prize. Secondly, there will be ten businesses that will have vendor exhibits set up in the lobby of the dining center which will showcase their business. Exhibits may be viewed from 5:30 pm until time for the banquet to start at 6:30 pm. Come early, browse and enjoy the exhibits along with a time to fellowship with chamber members and friends. Each year the Chamber recognized individuals for Business/ Professional Man of the Year, Business/ Professional Woman of the Year, Educator of the Year, Employee of the Year, Agriculturist of the Year, and Volunteer of the Year. Many outstanding and deserving individuals have been nominated for the award. Winners will be recognized in each category. Reservations were to be made no later than Thursday, April 7th. The cost is $15.00 per person. To make your reservation, come by the Chamber Office at 201 Burkesville Street and pick up your tickets. Tickets must be picked up at the Chamber Office prior to the Banquet. No money will be accepted at the door. For additional information, call the Chamber Office at 384-6020.
