James Junior Beauchamp, 71, Metcalfe Co., KY native (1949-2021)

James Junior Beauchamp of Glasgow passed away on Tuesday, August 24, 2021 in Glasgow. He was 71 years old.

Graveside services for Junior Beauchamp will be held at 11amCT on Friday, August 27, 2021, at the Little Barren Cemetery in Sulphur Well.

There will be no visitation prior to the service at the funeral home.


Junior was born December 16, 1949 in Metcalfe County to the late Charles Beauchamp and Olene Watt Beauchamp of Glasgow who survives. Besides his father he was preceded in death by a sister Mary "Sissy" Shirley.

Junior was of the Baptist faith and farmed all his life. He loved to hunt and fish.

Besides his mother he is survived by two brothers and two sisters. Phillip Beauchamp of Glasgow, Thomas Beauchamp of Hiseville, Selma Johnson of Savoyard and Kathryn Carter of Burkesville. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
