Glendal (Glen) M. Wyatt, 86, Liberty, KY (1934-2021) Glendal "Glen" M. Wyatt of Liberty passed away on Tuesday, August 24, 2021, at his home. He was 86 years old. The funeral service will be held at 2pmET on Friday, August 27, 2021, at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home, 752 Campbellsville St, Liberty, KY. Burial will follow in Salem Cemetery, with military honors provided by the Casey County Honor Guard. The family will receive friends from NoonET to 2pmET on Friday, August 27, 2021, at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home. Born on September 6, 1934, in Casey County, Kentucky, he was the son of the late Lee Wayne Wyatt and Lena Ann Mills. Glen retired from Rexnord after twenty-nine years of service in Dolton, Illinois. He was a longtime member of Rheber Church of the Nazarene. He enjoyed gardening, fishing, spending time with family, and just "pottering around." He is survived by his loving wife, Margie Hardin Wyatt, who he wed on January 28, 1956; four grandchildren, Angela Wyatt of Stanford, Andrea Wyatt of Stanford, Laura (Joseph) Reynolds of Liberty, and Kristen (Daniel Abney) Wyatt of Danville; and two great-grandchildren, Aubrey and Mace Melton. Other survivors include a daughter-in-law, Jill Smith of Liberty; two sisters, Ines Goforth and Anna Huff; a brother, J.B. (Carolyn) Wyatt of Florida; a sister-in-law, Catherine Davis of Illinois; a brother-in-law, Buford Hardin; and a host of nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his son, Roger Glenn Wyatt; four brothers, Gene Wyatt, Burl Wyatt, Ewell Stevenson Wyatt, and Charles Wyatt; and four sisters, Betty Burton, Lavonia Helm, Loretta Emerson, and Barbara Johnson. Memorial contributions may take the form of donations to Hospice of Lake Cumberland at 100 Parkway Drive, Somerset, KY, 42503. Arrangements for Mr. Wyatt are entrusted to McKinney-Brown Funeral Home.
