Henry Milton Jones, Jr., 88, Campbellsville, KY (1933-2021) Henry Milton Jones, Jr. of Campbellsville passed away on Wednesday, August 4, 2021. He was 88 years old. The funeral service will be held at 11amET on Saturday, August 7, 2021 at Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home, 418 Lebanon Ave., Campbellsville, KY, officiated by Bro. Kent Ashley. Burial will follow in Campbellsville Memorial Gardens. Visitation is requested from 5pmET until 8pmET on Friday, August 6, 2021 at Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home. Henry Milton Jones, Jr. of Campbellsville, son of the late Henry Milton Jones, Sr. and India Maude McCubbin Jones, was born April 14, 1933, in Green County, Kentucky. He professed faith in Christ and was a member of Friendship Baptist Church, where he had served as a deacon, church treasurer, worship leader and was a Sunday School teacher for over forty years. Milton was a life-long farmer and was a former member of the Taylor County ASF Office and Taylor County Farm Bureau. He also served on the Taylor County Democratic Executive Committee and the Taylor County School Board for sixteen years. He was also a Gideon for several years. He united in marriage to Geraldine Goff January 30, 1952. Besides his wife, Geraldine Jones of Campbellsville, he is survived by one son and one daughter: Jason Jones and Sharon Harris and husband, Brian of Campbellsville; three grandchildren: Carly Ann Davis of Nashville, Tennessee, Sara Harris and fiance, Meong Kwak of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Ben Harris-Medina and wife, Ely of Lexington; two brothers: David Jones and wife, Johnette of Boston, Massachusetts and Donald Jones and wife, Betty of Killeen, Texas; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends. He was also preceded in death by a son, Paul M. Jones and one brother and one sister: Vontress Jones and Louise Mings. Expressions of sympathy requested to be donations to Gideon Bibles and may be made at Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home. Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
