Kenyatta Bridgewater, 24, Green County, KY (1977-2021) Kenyatta Bridgewater was born August 12,1977 Greensburg, Kentucky to Jennifer Edelen of Louisville and the late Johnny Dowell. He departed this life Wednesday, July 14, 2021, at the Jewish Hospital in Louisville. He had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of the Pleasant Hill Baptist Church. He poured concrete and enjoyed fishing, noodling, and Nascar. He is preceded in death by one great-grandmother: Edna Mae Mitchell; one grandfather: Joe Bridgewater; one nephew: Bre'don Ford. He is survived his mother: Jennifer Edelen of Louisville; one son: Duston Bridgewater of Campbellsville; four daughters: Nakaya Bridgewater, Kenya Bridgewater, Kenzlee Bridgewater all of Campbellsville and Laila Nash of Louisville; one granddaughter: Caliah Bridgewater: one brother: Joseph Bridgewater; three sisters: Monsontalia Miller of Louisville, Davidia Edelen and Erika Mitchell-Ford both of Campbellsville; one grandmother: Dean Bridgewater of Campbellsville; plus a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services for Kenyatta Bridgewater will be conducted 1 p.m., Central Time, Saturday, July 17, 2021, at the Foster-Toler-Curry Funeral Home in Greensburg with Rev. David Mitchell, Master of Ceremony and Rev. Jarrell Hill, Eulogy. Burial will follow in the Bridgewater- Groves- Caldwell Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10amCT Saturday, until the time of the service. Pallbearers: Billy "Bud" Gartin, Daniel Matney, Ryan Barnett, Stephan Mitchell, Sean Arthur, Anthuro Alexander Honorary Pallbearers: James Bridgewater, Calvin lee Bridgewater, Amos Bridgewater, Reggie Carney, George Mitchell, Marco Mitchell The family has requested that expressions of sympathy be made to the family burial fund, and these can be made at the funeral home.
