Danny Wendell Buster, 80, Russell Springs, KY (1941-2021) Danny Wendell Buster of Russell Springs passed away on Monday, July 5, 2021, at Russell County Hospital. He was 80 years old. Funeral services are scheduled for 1pmCT on Thursday, July 8, 2021, at Bernard Funeral Home, 367 N. Main St., Russell Springs, KY , with Bro. Barry Bradshaw officiating. Burial will follow in the Buster Family Cemetery, in Creelsboro. Visitation will be held after 11amCT on Thursday, at Bernard Funeral Home, until time for services. Danny was born on March 24, 1941, in Creelsboro, son of the late Wendell H. and Ruth Viola Caddell Buster. He was a veteran of the United States Army. Danny worked 34 years with the General Electric Company and 16 years with Russell County Hospital. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle, trips to Renfro Valley and was a lover of all kinds of music. His passion was anything Creelsboro, his home community, his main stay. He is survived by his son, Daniel Buster (Kasey McGowan and Abbie), of Russell Springs; his "Very Special Lady", Janet Wilson, of Russell Springs; his nephews, Donnie Andrew and David Andrew (Joross); his nieces, Debbie Grider (Steve) and Patricia Lowhorn; great-nephews, Elliott Grider and Scott Rose (Jenny); and great-nieces, Jodie Brown and Allie Andrew. Along with his parents, Danny is preceded in death by his brother, Dale O. Buster; his sister, Patsy Buster Twyford; and his niece, Judy Morrison. Pallbearers will be Daniel Buster, Steve Lawhorn, Kevin Bell, Steve Grider, Elliott Grider and Jeff Wilson. Bernard Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
