Lindsey Wilson collected awards in four categories, including COVID-19 Features, Gameday Infographics, Feature Videos and Call of the Year. In total, Lindsey Wilson garnered six mentions - all coming inside the top-6 of 10 spots -- in the publication and media contest. The Blue Raider staff for the 2020-21 season consisted of Assistant Athletics and Sports Information Director Chris Wells, Assistant Sports Information Director Chris Coombs along with Sports Information Interns Brady Budke, Kyle Jackson, Kyrin Mayfield and Joel Snyder. Coombs' work on a COVID-19 Feature story, "Hampton Fighting COVID-19 as Medical Worker" took the fourth spot of ten for feature stories. He added a sixth-place finish in Gameday Infographics for his preview graphic for the Battle of Highway 55. Budke and Coombs teamed up in the feature video category to garner both the third and fourth place video for their work on the golf and baseball traditions and facilities videos, respectively. Wells and Mayfield each collected awards for their broadcasts, as Wells collected the fifth spot and Mayfield took the sixth spot on the calls of the year.
