Malcolm Douglas, 76, Liberty, KY (1944-2021) Malcolm Douglas of Liberty passed away on Saturday, May 29, 2021, at Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center. He was 76 years old. The funeral service will be held at 1pmET on Saturday, June 5, 2021, at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home, 752 Campbellsville St, Liberty, KY, with Bro. Rick Hogue officiating. Burial will follow in Whited Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 11amET to 1pmET on Saturday, June 5, 2021, at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home. Born on July 12, 1944, in Casey County, Kentucky, he was the son of the late Chester Douglas and Enola Lynn Pratt. Malcolm was retired from General Motors after 30+ years. He was a hardworking family man. He enjoyed old cars and bluegrass music. Malcolm was a Mason. He is survived by a son, David Douglas of Liberty; a daughter, Denise (JR) Sheene of Liberty; four grandchildren, Brittany, Danielle, Molly, and Ashton; and six great-grandchildren, Trenton, Ian, Trey, Alexis, Althea, and Jay; two brothers, Garland Douglas of Cincinnati and Jack Douglas of Liberty; and a sister, Matrie Martin of Liberty. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a son, Joe Douglas; three brothers, JC Douglas, Dallon Douglas, and Delano Douglas; and five sisters, Frances Allen, Vearin Shaw, Agatha Shaw, Pam Garrett, and Roxie Mann. Pallbearers will be JR Sheene, Leonard Allen, Kenny Allen, Rodney Martin, Michael Heiny, Donnie Douglas, Trenton Emerson, Jack Douglas, and Garland Douglas.
