Blake Martin Memorial Basketball Game By Will Rich Tribe44 Podcast, a free podcast that discusses ACHS sports, is hosting an Alumni basketball game Fundraiser on Saturday, June 5, 2021. Since we began our podcast, Blake Martin, a past Adair County High School athlete and well-known Adair County citizen, died suddenly. Blake left behind not only his wife, who is a teacher at Adair County Primary Center, but two very small children. The community set up an account to help with the future educational needs of these two young boys. Tribe44 would like to assist with this fundraiser by holding a basketball game of former ACHS basketball players. We have two complete rosters of former ACHS basketball players and have combined the players into two "decade" teams the 2001-2010 graduating classes will take on the 2011-2020 graduating classes at 6pmCT on June 5, 2021, at Adair County High School. All proceeds from the event will go to the Asher and Avery Education fund in Blake's honor. Tribe44 Podcast (Google podcasts | Apple podcasts | Spotify) was started to help support Adair County sports. Now, more than ever, we need a positive outreach to our community as we come out of this pandemic. Our podcast covers all sports at Adair County High School. We bring both current coaches and players as well as past coaches and players to our podcasts to discuss sports. Tribe44 Podcast can be contacted for details via email tribe44podcast@gmail.com or by phone at 302-927-2244. This story was posted on 2021-05-03 15:11:50
