Ray Bault, 91, World War II veteran

Ray Bault, 91, 120 Hillltop Lane, Columbia, KY, died Sunday, February 6, 2005, at 8:35 p.m., at the Westlake Regional Hospital, Columbia, KY.

The funeral service will be Thursday, February 10, 2005, at 2:00 p.m., at Grissom Funeral Home with Bro. Scott Osborn, Bro. Eldon Rucker, and Bro. Ivan Tucker officiating.

He was the son of the late Lee Olie and Myra Todd Bault, and a member of Cane Valley Christian Church.

He was a veteran of World War II, serving in the U.S. Army. He was a life member of both the D.A.V. and V.F.W. Post 6097. He will be given full miltary honors by V.F.W. Post 6097 at his burial in Columbia Cemetery.

Survivors include the following:
  • His wife: Estelle Farris Bault, Columbia, KY
  • One son: David Lee Bault, Columbia, KY
  • Two daughters: Pat Villegas, North Hills, CA; and Margaret Varble, Hendersonville, TN
  • Four grandchildren: Nathan Varble, Todd Villegas, Carrie Varble, and Neil Varble.
Memorials are suggested to Cane Valley Christian Church Building Fund and may be left at the funeral home.

Visitation will be after 4 p.m., Wednesday, February 9, 2005, at Grissom Funeral Home, 200 Campbellsville ST, Columbia, KY
