Henry Appleby, 67, Campbellsville, KY (1954-2021)

Henry Appleby of Campbellsville passed away on Saturday, April 17, 2021 in Louisville. He was 67 years old.

The funeral service will be held at 1pmET on Wednesday, April 21, 2021 at Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home, 418 Lebanon Ave., Campbellsville, KY, officiated by Bro. Jeff Edwards. Burial will follow in Pine Grove Cemetery, Casey County, Kentucky.

Visitation is requested from 9amET until 1pmET on Wednesday, April 21, 2021 at Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home.


Henry Appleby, son of the late Chester Osby Appleby and Lois Glover Appleby, was born March 20, 1954 in Casey County, Kentucky.

He professed faith in Christ and was a member of Pine Grove Community Church.

Henry was a retired employee of Cox Interior. He loved working at his job as a mechanic.

He united in marriage to Debbie Karnes February 22, 1974.

Besides his wife, Debbie Appleby of Campbellsville, Henry is survived by one daughter, Amanda Whitaker and fiance', Zack Hartman of Campbellsville; two grandchildren: Havana Whitaker and Seeley Whitaker; one brother and four sisters: Allen Appleby of Clementsville, Anna Appleby, Phyllis Ritchey and husband, Harley and Emma Jean Sanders and husband, Leland of Campbellsville and Wanda Wilson of Casey County; special friend, Mickey Sapp Campbellsville; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.

Henry was preceded in death by three brothers: James Appleby, Arnold Appleby and Franklin Appleby.
