Joene Tucker, 65

Joene Tucker, 65, 130 Sams Lane, Knifley, KY, passed away Friday, February 4, 2005, at 10:05 a.m., at Westlake Regional Hospital in Columbia, KY, after an illness.

The funeral service will be Sunday, February 6, 2005, at 2:00 p.m., at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home, with Bro. Ralph Foster officiating.

She was the daughter of Oconal Tucker of Knifley, KY; and the late Gussie Emma Perkins Tucker and the widow of Mitchell Winfrey Curtsinger, who preceded her in death on August 20, 1997.

Besides her father, she is survived by the following:
  • Three daughters: Cathy Lynn Curry, Greensburg, KY; and Melissa Ann Caudill and Sherry Gail Brown, both of Knifley, KY
  • Three sons: Mitchell Dale Curtsinger, Greensburg, KY; Ricky Joe Curtsinger, Knifley, KY; and Darrell Glenn Curtsinger, Greensburg, KY
  • Two sisters: Treva Warren and Mae Sneed, both of Knifley, KY
  • Two brothers: Sam Tucker and Danny Dale Tucker, both of Knifley, KY
  • And nine grandchildren, 3 step grandchildren, special friend Joe Powell, and a host of other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by one son, Michael Dewayne Curtsinger, on February 4, 2000; one brother, Herman Tucker; and one sister, Norma Jean Tucker.

Joene Tucker was a homemaker.

Interment will be in Robinson Chapel Cemetery at Knifley.

Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home is in charge of funeral arrangements.

Visitation after 3:30 p.m., Saturday, February 5, 2005, at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home, 210 Greensburg ST, Columbia, KY.
