LETTER to the EDITOR: When was picture taken?

Hi Ed,

What year was the picture of the Columbia High School taken?

Thanks,
Morris

Answer
We could have included the date in the cutline, but the photo was published so as to cause such curiosity that hundreds to thousands of the Adair County Diaspora would feel compelled return to their roots and the wonderful Janice Holt Giles Memorial Library and examine the photo.

However, I'm assured by the library that at least one "Morris" is a well-behaved, frequent visitor, so Genealogy Section Director Ernestine Bennett is sharing this tidbit. "It was taken in 1925," she says. It is my understanding that you are still required to come to the library and pay proper homage.
