Judge Executive Gale Cowan and the Adair County Fiscal Court are proud to offer a wonderful opportunity for the residents of Adair County to dispose of unwanted items and materials.
  • Friday, April 30, 2021 from 7amCT to 3pmT
  • Saturday, May 1, 2021, from 7amCT to 11amCT
Location: Mid-State Transfer Station, L Willis Rd, Columbia KY. (Go past Wal-Mart, first road on left, after you go over the Louie B Nunn Parkway). NOTE: You must unload by yourself, so make sure you bring help! Phone: 270-384-6014

Items that will not be accepted: tires, anything hazardous, dirt (silage plastic), wet drywall, manure, dead animals, concrete, rocks, stacks of lumber, steel cables, burning barrels, capacitors, tanks (acetylene, oxygen, propane)

NOTE: Paint will be accepted, but only if it has been dried with either sand and/or cat litter.
