The Lindsey Wilson College Board of Trustees, along with Chairman of the Board and Adair County native Allan Parnell have an important question for LWC alumni and friends -- "How will YOU be All-In for LWC?"

The 48-hour yearly event to raise money for student aid will begin on Tuesday, March 30 and will last until midnight on Wednesday, March 31, 2021. The social media campaign dubbed "All-In For LWC" is traditionally held during the fall semester but was postponed in 2020 due to the coronavirus pandemic.

"Regardless of the challenges we are facing, the LWC mission continues," says LWC President William T. Luckey Jr. "The 'All-In' campaign is a time of fellowship and fun. For two days each year, we loosen our ties and get down to work. It's a campus-wide effort and we enjoy every minute working alongside our students. So naturally, we were disappointed when the coronavirus prevented us from holding the campaign in the fall of 2020."

Now in its seventh year, the All-In for LWC Campaign has raised nearly $4 million for scholarship aid. In the spirit of renewal and a 'fresh start' -- the challenge for this year's campaign is to receive 2,021 gifts over the span of two days in 2021.

"We want to honor everyone who helped LWC make it through this difficult year," said Luckey. "Many of you could have turned away from our beloved college on the hill, but instead you stood steadfast and lifted us up during what may have been the most challenging year in our 118-year history. Thank you students, faculty, staff, community and friends for staying by our side. Let's make 2021 the best year yet!"

The 2021 campaign has been reimagined so that students will immediately benefit from the financial support. By going to www.lindsey.edu/giving, donors may give their gift directly to more than 30 affinity programs. For example, if you are a former baseball player, cheerleader, band member, or if you have a love for theatre, you can designate your gift to go to your favorite program, team, club or group.

"It has been my privilege to be associated with the All-In for LWC, Chair's Challenge for the last six years," said board chair, Dr. Allan Parnell. "We are hoping for a better world beyond COVID, with this in mind, I want to personally encourage the LWC family to take part in this exciting new initiative -- 2,021 donors in 2021 and help us do even more for Lindsey Wilson students."
