Mary Ann Brown, 86, Campbellsville, KY (1935-2021) Mary Ann Brown of Campbellsville passed away on Tuesday, March 16, 2021 in Glasgow. She was 86 years old. The funeral service will be held at 1pmET on Saturday, March 20, 2021 at Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home, 418 Lebanon Ave., Campbellsville, KY, officiated by Minister Steve Lee. Burial will follow in Cedar Hill Cemetery in Clinton County. Visitation is requested from 11amET until 1pmET on Saturday, following social distancing guidelines and wearing masks. Mary Ann Brown, daughter of the late Alvis Brown and Martha Melton Brown was born March 13, 1935 in Taylor County, Kentucky. She professed faith in Christ and was a member of Sunny Hill Drive Church of Christ. Mary Ann began her career in health care at Rosary Hospital, taking classes in nursing care in the basement of the hospital taught by the nuns. She continued her career for more than fifty years in what was later Taylor Regional Hospital; most of her work was in the nursery caring for the newborns. She loved her church family and coworkers and enjoyed traveling as often as possible and was an avid University Of Kentucky fan. Mary Ann is survived by one sister-in-law, Helen Brown of Park City; four nieces and three nephews: Pam Glover of Cecilia, Vetta White, Butch Brown and Jolene Keith of Park City, Steve Brown of Owensboro Alice Walker of Cave City and Doyle Jones of Arkansas, a special friend, Carlene Newton of Campbellsville and many other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by one brother, Millard Brown, a sister, Virginia Brown in infancy; three half- brothers and one- half sister and five nephews: Jason Brown, Marvin Jones, Rodney Brown, Phillip Brown, and Donnie Ray Brown. Expressions of sympathy are requested to be donations to the funeral expenses. Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Online condolences at parrottramsey.com.
