Academic Teams Recognition Month proclaimed

Mayor Pam Hoots gathered the award-winning Adair County Academic Team members together Monday to acknowledge the honors they have received and to name the month of March for them in the city of Columbia.

The proclamation states that these teams and individuals have brought recognition to our community and the city is recognizing the schools, the teachers, the academic instructors and coaches along with each student.

Honors given to Adair Academic Teams

Adair County School District Academic Teams came together Monday, March 15, 2021 to have a proclamation signed in their honor making March Academic Team Month in Columbia, Adair County. Seated in front of the students are Mayor Pam Hoots, center; School Superintendent Pam Stevens at right; and Police Chief Junior Murphy at left. Students names will appear with their individual team photos.

Middle School Academic Team members honored

A City of Columbia proclamation recognizing all Academic Team members was held Monday, March 15, 2021 honoring teams for their accomplishments. ACES Academic Team members honored
