Letter: Disappointed that Brockman funds taken away

Victoria Pike writes:
I am very disappointed that the money Sheriff Brockman was allowed to keep for use in his office was taken away. I'll say this again, this young man needs help. He's putting in way too many long hours everyday. He needs help to hire additional deputies and the money to pay those deputies so they can stay once they are trained. Also, he needs enough help to be able to send out 2 deputies when the situation is serious.

I call upon our officials to find a way to get him some help and be able to pay them so they don't have to move on to other positions that pay more. These men's lives are on the line here when they go out without backup.
