Brenda Rose Wilson, 69, Russell County, KY (1951-2021)

Brenda Rose Wilson, 69, of Russell Springs, KY passed away Thursday, March 11, at Russell County Hospital.

She was born in Somerset, KY on May 26, 1951, a daughter of the late Burvel (B.G.) and Adelyne (Ashbrook) Smith. She was a devout Christian and talented pianist who played the piano at her church for many years.



Brenda is survived by her daughter, Melinda (Shawn) Stephens, of Russell Springs, KY as well as her stepsons Brian Wilson, of Summitville, IN and Mike Wilson, of Elwood, IN.

One sister, Carleen (Jimmie) George, of Russell Springs, KY; two brothers, Clinton Smith of Russell Springs, KY, and Michael (Ruth) Smith, of Cincinnati, OH.

Four grandchildren; Jessica (Zackary) Litton, Rebecca (Brian) Baker, Shawn (Kelsey) Stephens, and Nathan Stephens, two great grandchildren; Elliot Harris, and Anaya Baker.

Brenda is also survived by her two beloved dogs, Carla and Rose.

She is preceded in death by her parents, and her husband of 40 years Lenvel Gene Wilson.

Cremation was chosen and a celebration of life service will be scheduled at a later date. H.E. Pruitt Memory Chapel in charge of arrangements.
