James Franklin Ryan, 69, Green County, KY James Franklin Ryan of Greensburg, Kentucky, son of the late Wilson Ford and Elaine Ryan, was born on Thursday, February 7, 1952 and departed this life on Tuesday, March 2, 2021 at the age of 69. He had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of the Liberty Separate Baptist Church. He was also a retired shift supervisor at Rite Aid in Greensburg. Survived by his wife of 20 years, Donna Lynn Kidd Ryan of Greensburg, having united in marriage on May 30, 2000. Other survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law: Jamie and Amy Ryan of Georgia and Justin and Nita Ryan of Alabama; three step-daughters and step sons-in-law: Amy and Bert Smith of Colorado, Laura and Phillip Pollard of Bowling Green, and Whitney and Derek Tucker of South Carolina; two grandchildren: Jackson Ryan and Kelsey Ryan; ten step-grandchildren: Trent Mays, Caleb Mays, Alex Newman Thomas, Jake Newman, Sarah Smith, Ashleigh Pollard, Kalyn Pollard, Brady Pollard, Clark Tucker, and Gretchen Tucker; two sisters and a brother-in-law: Betty Lou and David Rickles and Peggy Gwin all of Alabama; and a mother-in-law: Carroll Kidd of Greensburg. He was also preceded in death by a step-grandchild: Taylor Newman. The funeral services will be conducted at 1pmCT Saturday, March 6, 2021 at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home with burial to follow in Liberty Separate Baptist Cemetery. Bro. Todd Davis officiating. Visitation is requested after 11 Saturday. Due to state mandates and COVID-19, please continue to practice social distancing and wear a face covering.
