Frank Wesley Hancock, 80

Frank Wesley Hancock, 80, Columbia, KY, the Cane Valley community, died Monday, January 10, 2005, at 3:55 a.m. at the Westlake Regional Hospital.

Visitation will be after 3:00 p.m., Tuesday, January 11, at Grissom Funeral Home, 200 Campbellsville ST, Columbia, KY.


Masonic services will be at 7:00 p.m., Tuesday, January 11, 2005, at the funeral home.

The funeral service will be Wednesday, January 12, 2005, at 3:00 p.m., at Cane Valley Christian Church with Bro. Ivan Tucker and Bro. Paul Patton officiating.

Burial will be in the Cane Valley Cemetery.

He was a farmer and a member of the Cane Valley Christian Church and of Columbia Lodge 96.

He was the son of the late Junius McGarvey and Nancy Sublett Hancock.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Troutman Hancock, on July 1, 2000.

He is survived by the following:
  • Three sisters: Helen Sparks and Betty Cundiff, both of Columbia; and Carol Janes, Louisville
  • And several nieces. nephews, and friends.
Memorials are suggested to Cane Valley Christian Church and may be left at the funeral home.

Grissom Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
