Happy Birthday, Robert Stone! Happy birthday to our adopted Columbian, writer Robert Stone, who helps us start each day in a thoughtful way. His Haiku on this 36th day of 2021 reminds us that what was once easy... can change. Born in Lebanon, Tennessee, Robert still lives two miles from his birthplace. He went to school at Cumberland College, George Peabody College, Fisk, Vanderbilt, UT Nashville, and Nashville State Technical Institute. He wrote poetry and a regular column when in college but then stopped writing through his work career until he started doing the review of Horse Cave Theater where he was discovered by CM editor Ed Waggener who asked him to share. And the rest is in the archives - just search Robert Stone and enjoy reading. This story was posted on 2021-02-05 07:22:34
