Robert ''Bobby'' Stotts, 65, dies

Robert "Bobby" Stotts, 65, 70 Marys Drive, Columbia, KY, passed away Sunday, December 19, 2004, at 3:16 p.m., at Westlake Regional Hospital Emergency Room, Columbia, KY.

The funeral service will be Wednesday, December 22, 2004, at 11:00 a.m., at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home, 210 Greensburg ST, Columbia, KY, with Bro. Randy Johnson officiating.


He was the son of the late Porter and Sophia Allene Furkin Stotts.

He was a member of the Columbia Baptist Church, retired from Ford Motor Company in Louisville, KY, and was a stone mason by trade.

He is survived by his wife, Patricia P. McKinney Stotts, Columbia, KY, and the following:
  • One daughter and son-in-law: Robin Barnes and her husband, Tim, Concord, North Carolina
  • One son and daughter-in-law: Edward A. Stotts and his wife, Karen, Louisville, KY
  • Two brothers: Todd Stotts, Clarksville, IN, and Junior Stotts, Columbia, KY
  • One sister: Celystine Baker, Columbia, KY
  • Five grandchildren: Candace Barnes, Caleb Barnes, Callie Barnes, Nathan Stotts, and Catie Stotts
  • And several nieces, nephews, and a host of other relatives and friends
He was preceded in death by one sister, Minnie Marie Stotts.

Interment will be in the Fudge Cemetery, Breeding, KY.

Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home, Columbia, KY, is in charge of funeral arrangements

Visitation will be after 1:30 p.m., Tuesday, December 21, 2004.
