Shirley Lou Houk Armstrong, 69, Campbellsville, KY (1952-2021) Shirley Lou Houk Armstrong of Campbellsville passed away on Sunday, January 17, 2021 at Audubon Hospital in Louisville, Kentucky. She was 69 years old. The funeral services for Shirley Lou Houk Armstrong will be conducted at 1pmCT on Wednesday, January 20, 2021 at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home, 206 S. Main St., Greensburg, KY, with Bro. Terry Gaddie officiating. Burial will follow in the Erwin J.E. Shirley Cemetery. A walk-through only visitation is requested after 11amCT on Wednesday until the time of the funeral service. Shirley Lou Houk Armstrong of Campbellsville, Kentucky, daughter of the late Ralph Eldon Houk and Callie Coffey Houk, was born on Monday, January 7, 1952 in Green County, Kentucky. She had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of the Grace Missionary Baptist Church in Campbellsville. She was a former caretaker and a clerk for Walmart. She united in marriage to James M. "Jim" Armstrong who preceded her in death on September 4, 2007. Survivors include a sister: Sharon Houk of Louisville; a sister-in-law: Sarah Houk of Columbia; a niece: Carla Edwards of Louisville; two nephews: Joe Houk of Louisville and Kerry Houk of Arizona; and a host of other relatives and friends. Mrs. Armstrong was also preceded in death by a brother: Joe Houk. Pallbearers: Family. Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Online condolences at cowherdandparrott.com.
