Larry Dale Roy, 75, Liberty, KY (1945-2021) Larry Dale Roy of Liberty passed away on Sunday, January 10, 2021, at Jean Waddle Care Center in Somerset. He was 75 years old. A private funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 16, 2021, at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home with Bro. Chuck Woodcock and Bro. Johnny Maupin officiating. Burial will follow in Rich Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 10amET until 1pmET on Saturday, January 16, 2021, at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home, 752 Campbellsville St, Liberty, KY. Social distancing guidelines must be followed by everyone in attendance. Facial coverings are required. Born on August 15, 1945, in Casey County, Kentucky, he was a son of the late Luther and Violetta Maxine Buis Roy. Larry was a farmer and logger. He confessed to know his Lord and Savior and was baptized at an early age. Larry loved telling stories. He is survived by his daughter, Tracie (and Keith) Emerson of Windsor; two grandchildren, Morgan Brooke Emerson and Macie Elizabeth Emerson; a host of other family members and friends; and his pet dog, Brownie. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Lake Cumberland. Arrangements are entrusted to McKinney-Brown Funeral Home. An online guestbook is available at www.mckinneybrown.com.
