Irene was active in the community especially as a 4H leader and Youth activities. She and Harvey loved their time in the Casey square dance club and nothing pleased her more than a competitive game of Scrabble with her sisters. Irene loved creating whether she was writing poetry, basket making, picking up a new craft and especially her quilting. But for all her passions, her greatest was her family.
