PVA urges eligible citizens to take advantage of higher exemption Homestead Exemption will be up $1,400 for 2005 tax year Adair County Property Valuation Administrator W.M. Feese, Jr., is urging all eligible Adair Countians to take advantage of the Homestead Exemption on property tax assessments. "In 2005," Mr. Feese said, "the Exemption will be even better than in the past. Last year, the exemption was as much as $28,000. But next year, it will be $29,400." Mr. Feese said that the exemption is for two groups of property owners:
The applications should be made at the PVA's office, in the Courthouse Annex, 424 Public Square, Suite 2, Columbia, KY 42728. The phone number is 270-384-3673.
