Joe Douglas, 44, Liberty, KY (1976-2020) Joe Douglas passed away at his home in Liberty on Wednesday, December 30, 2020, surrounded by family. He was 44 years old. Funeral services will be held at 2pmET on Sunday, January 3, 2021, at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home, 752 Campbellsville St, Liberty, KY. Burial will follow in the Whited Cemetery. Visitation will be from NoonET until 2pmET Sunday at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home. Please enter through the front doors (Campbellsville Street side) when you arrive at the funeral home. Social distancing guidelines must be followed by everyone in attendance. Facial coverings ARE required. Born August 25, 1976, in Cincinnati, OH, he was a son of Malcolm Douglas and Shirley Hamm Smith. Joe graduated high school in Franklin, IN in 1994. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and traveling. He also had a "green thumb" when it came to trees and poinsettias. Joe liked classic and muscle cars. Survivors include his father, Malcolm Douglas of Liberty; mother, Shirley (and Mike) Smith of Trafalgar, IN; brother, David Douglas of Liberty; sister, Denise (and Jr.) Sheene of Liberty; and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, and uncles also survive.
