Sally Jane Byrd, 87, Casey County, KY (1933-2020) Sally Jane Byrd age 87 of Liberty, KY passed away on Thursday December 24th, 2020 at the Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center. She was born in Liberty, KY on June 19th, 1933 a daughter of the late George and Levona Luttrell Emerson. Sally was the widow of Artis Byrd who passed away on August 10th, 2010. Sally was a homemaker, a member of South Fork Separate Baptist Church. She enjoyed quilting, working puzzles and being with family. Survivors include: Four Sons: Roger Lee and (Tina) Byrd of Campbellsville, Ronald Gene Byrd of Moreland, Randy and Ray Byrd both of Liberty, One Daughter: Shirley and (Mike) Stevens of Liberty, Six Grandchildren, Fourteen Great Grandchildren, One Brother: Archie and (Linda) Emerson of Providence, RI, many Nieces and Nephews and Special Friends Jim and Faye Patton. Preceding her in death besides her parents and spouse was Five Brothers: Killis, Leroy, Lafon, Russell and Jesse Emerson and Two Sisters: Ila Tarter and Alpha Ramey. A Walk Thru Visitation will be held 11:30-1 Wednesday December 30th, 2020 at Bartle Funeral Home Chapel. Private Family Services will be held at Bartle Funeral Home Chapel. Bro. Troy Coffey officiating. Burial will be in the South Fork Cemetery. The Funeral Services for Sally Byrd will be LIVE streamed on Bartle Funeral Home's Facebook Page beginning at 1pmET Wednesday December 30th, 2020. Due to State Mandate: Masks will be required for the funeral and visitation. For the health and respect of the family please follow all rules for social distancing.
