Georgianna Murphy, 82, Liberty, KY (1938-2020) Georgianna Hatfield Murphy of Liberty passed away at her daughter's home in Casey County on Thursday, December 10, 2020. She was 82 years old. Due to COVID restrictions the funeral service will be private for immediate family members only. Burial will be held at the Murphy Cemetery with Roger Thompson officiating. Born October 29, 1938, in Casey Co., KY, she was a daughter of the late Roy and Lola Tarter Hatfield. Georgianna formerly worked for the Casey County Florist. She was the former owner of Buck and Mike's Market in Liberty. She enjoyed cooking and feeding her family. Georgianna loved DR Pepper, reading, working crossword puzzles, and doing her yard work. She is survived by her daughters, Sherree Jo (Keith) Wilson of Liberty; Pamela Renee (Douglas) Phillips of Labelle, FL, and Dianna Merle Bryant of Liberty; sister, Dorothy Kinne of Paducah; 6 grandchildren: 12 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren; and special family friend, Sherrie Jo Baxter. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Wesley "Buck" Murphy; her brother, Michael Hatfield; and her granddaughter, Kelly Withers-Sanchez.
