Ida Mae Bardin Williams, 80, Louisville, KY, formerly of Adair County, passed away Tuesday, November 16, 2004, at Norton Suburban Hospital in Louisville.


She was the daughter of th late Henry Clay and Bettie Henager Bardin of Adair County.

She was preceded in death by husbands James A. Newton and Edgar Dalton Wiliams.

She is survived by the following:
  • One daughter: Janice Newton Reed and her husband, William, Louisville, KY
  • One sister: LouVena Page Leigh, Columbia, KY
  • Grandsons: Truman Leon Vincent II and James Dalton Vincent
  • Great grandsons; Jarod Glen and Joshua Ray Vincent
  • Great granddaughter: Rebecca Lyn Vincent
  • Numerous nieces, nephews, and a host of other relatives and friends
In addition to her husbands, she was preceded in death by the following:
  • Four brothers: Henry Amos, Clay, and Joe Addison and Leonard Kendall Bardin
  • Four half-sisters: Annie Lee, Nanna Etter, Addie May and Lizzie Fay Bardin
  • And one great grandson: Jordan Lee Vincent.
She was a resident of Eastern Star Home, a homemaker, a seamstress, a member of Louisville Capter #91 Order of the Easter Star, a member of Acklen Avenue Church of Christ in Nashville, TN, and the Long Run Baptist Church in Louisville, KY

The funeral service is Saturday, November 20, 2004, at 10:00 a.m., EST, at Highlands Family-Owned Funeral Home, 3331 Taylorsville Road, Louisville, KY.

A graveside service will follow, Saturday, at the Bardin Cemetery at Fairplay, on KY 704 south of Columbia in Adair County, KY.

Visitation is from 1-4 and 6-8 p.m., Friday, November 19, 2004, at Highlands Funeral Home, 3331 Taylorsville Road, Louisville, KY.
