Holiday Arts Tour is Saturday around Adair County

Works by Adair County artists will be showcased at each of the studios in Adair County on Saturday, November 20th from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. Everyone is invited to visit the locations listed below for holiday enjoyment and refreshments! Detailed maps showing the locations around the county are available at the Chamber of Commerce and also at each of the stops.

Highland Raku Studio and Gallery in Sparksville displays and sells regional juried art work. Included in the gallery are Photography, Painting, Quilts and Textile Design, Hand Blown Glass, Jewelry, Pottery, Soaps and lots of soy candles.

---" The heart's Image" Pottery Gallery is located in Gradyville. Artist David Waltz says, "My pottery is called "The heart's Image". I create both functional and decorative stoneware pottery plus a wide variety of sculptures". ---

Arnold's Upstairs Gallery on the public square in the purple building welcomes you to participate in our Gallery hop. Margaret Arnold and Susan Kell say they are happy to have the privilege of bringing you works of art by outstanding Local and regional Kentucky Artists. ---

Works from the Art Department of Adair County High School students under the direction of Debra Wimmer will be included in the tour at various stops.---

The Lucretia C. Begley Gallery located in the Slider Humanities Building on Lindsey Wilson College campus provides the area with a variety of quality exhibits throughout the college year. The public is invited to stop in on November 20th and see faculty art works on special display.

---New to the tour this year is E.P. Waggener & Sons Booksellers, supporters of literary arts in Adair County. They are located in the former Gradyville United Methodist Church at 3041 Edmonton Road, Columbia, and invite book lovers to stop in and visit their Kentucky Collection.---
