William Leonard Milby, 89, Green County, KY (1931-2020)

William Leonard Milby was born July 9, 1931 in Green County, KY., to the late Rosie Lee Durrett and Luther Thomas Milby. He departed this life Friday, November 20, 2020 having attained the age of eighty-nine years, four months and eleven days.

He made a profession of faith in Christ and was of the Baptist faith. He was a dairy farmer, avid Dodgers fan and a baseball player on the Cecilia Baseball Team.



Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Marjorie Elaine Sapp Milby whom he wed on July 9, 1960, his siblings: Cecil, Raven, Luther and Rudolph Milby.

He is survived by three daughters and two sons-in-law: Linda and Terry Martin of Greensburg, KY., Sandy and Tim Edwards of Campbellsville, KY., and Lorrie Knifley of Greensburg, KY. One sister: Ann Akin of Greensburg, KY., four grandchildren: Andrea & Ethan Edwards, Jessica and her husband Bobby Noble, Jr., Dylan Knifley and his fiance Sarah Ard, one great grandson: Benjamin Noble and two granddaughters of the heart: Rreonna Noble and Rylynn Bailey, plus a host of other relatives and friends.

There will be a walk-through visitation Monday, November 23, 2020 at the Foster-Toler-Curry Funeral Home from 5-8 PM CT. Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday, November 24, 2020 at 1:30 PM CT at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Wilson Cemetery. Due to State Mandated Guidelines funeral services are limited to 25 individuals. Please wear a mask at all times and continue maintaining a minimum of 6 feet social distancing.

Expressions of sympathy can be made at the Foster-Toler-Curry Funeral Home to Hosparus and Gideon Bibles.
