I would like to call attention to a true hometown hero! Jerry Antle of the Adair Road Department goes way beyond his duties of overseeing Adair Jail inmates picking up roadside refuse and litter.

On days of no crew, he can be found cleaning litter from our roads by himself!

Jerry was in a horrific traffic accident while overseeing his crew, but despite lingering pain from his injuries there he was this morning in a misty rain, alone picking up trash on 61 North!

And there was a LOT of trash!
