Marcille Wilkerson, 91, Dunnville, KY (1929-2020)

Marcille Wilkerson of Dunnville passed away on Tuesday, October 20, 2020, at her home. She was 91 years old.

The funeral service will be held at 1pmET on Saturday, October 24, 2020, at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home, 752 Campbellsville St, Liberty, KY, with Bro. Hershel Lawhorn officiating. Burial will follow in Thomas Ridge Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 5pmET to 8pmET on Friday, October 23, 2020, at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home. Please enter through the front doors (Campbellsville Street side) of the funeral home when you arrive to the funeral home. Social distancing guidelines must be followed by everyone in attendance. Facial coverings ARE required.



Born on June 12, 1929, in Casey County, Kentucky, she was a daughter of the late Ernest and Bessie Childress Luttrell. Marcille was a homemaker. She was the oldest living lifetime member of Thomas Ridge Christian Church. She loved singing at church. Marcille lived in the Thomas Ridge area most of her life. She enjoyed farming with her husband.

She is survived by a daughter, Connie (Ronald) Lee of Indianapolis, Indiana; a son, Dennis (Karrell) Wilkerson of Liberty; a daughter in law, Jo Wilkerson of Fairfield, Ohio; five grandchildren, Michelle, Kimberly, Jonathan, Kelly, and Jamie; fourteen great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren. Other survivors include two sisters, Odean Clements of Ohio and Versie Terry of Dunnville; a brother, Sherill Luttrell of Florida; and a host of nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Hershel Wilkerson, who passed away on December 10, 2001; a son, Danny Wilkerson; two sisters, Lorene Monday and Lois Emerson; and two brothers, Arlis Luttrell and Donald Luttrell.

Pallbearers will be Jonathan Wilkerson, Jamie Wilkerson, Kimberly Murphy, Kelly Crawford, Wendell Emerson, Kent Emerson, Michelle Daulton, and Kelsey Lee.

Memorial contributions may take the form of donations to Thomas Ridge Cemetery Fund c/o Greg Bernard at 2934 Thomas Ridge Road, Dunnville, KY 42528.
