Roberta Elga Cole, 82, Columbia, KY (1938-2020) Roberta Elga Hart Colep passed away on Saturday, October 3, 2020 at her residence. She was 82 years old. The funeral services will be held at 11amCT on Wednesday, October 7, 2020, at the Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home, 210 Greensburg St., Columbia, KY, with Bro. Steve Pescosolido officiating. Burial will follow in the Haven Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be on Tuesday from 4pmCT until 8pmCT, and will continue on Wednesday morning until time for the service at the funeral home. For the health and respect of the family, please follow all rules for social distancing and The Healthy at Work Guidelines. Everyone attending will be required to wear a mask or face covering. Born July 28, 1938, in Fonthill, KY she is the daughter of the late Lilburn R. and Jewell Bradshaw Hart. Mrs. Cole was a member of the Trinity United Methodist Church. She enjoyed gardening, cooking and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. Survivors include her husband Charles Cole of Columbia; three children Charlene McInteer of Columbia, Christina Burton (Edgar) of Columbia and David Cole (Lee Ann) of Campbellsville, KY; nine grandchildren Megan White, Andrew Ferguson (Lorran), Mary Kate White (Cody Reeder), Sarah Beth Ferguson, Lesley Ferguson (Tim Gilliam), Dawson, Luke, Gabe and Grace Ann Cole; two siblings Redith Hart Wilson (Paul) and Randy Hart (Lisha) both of Russell Springs, KY; several nieces, nephews, friends and other relatives also survive. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by four siblings Ray, Donald, Royse and Ronald Hart. Pallbearers will be Wayne Hart, Rodney Hart, Todd Wilson, Tony Wilson, Tony Tarter and David Hammond. Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
