City reminds everyone to fill out Census to help funding

From Columbia City Hall

We were recently asked to remind everyone that US Census workers are still out going door to door in our community. No, this isn’t probably the best time, and no, many people may not like it, however gathering this information is pertinent to funding being delivered to our communities.

When our communities grow in numbers, it is imperative we show the government , through the Census, that we have grown. Thus more funding hopefully coming our way for infrastructure in the future.

With that being said, we do ask everyone to be considerate of these workers if they were to knock at your door.

We just want the best and most accurate Census 2020 for our community.

There are three ways to be counted:
- Online at www.my2020census.gov
- By Phone: 844-330-2020 for English, or 844-468-2020 for Spanish.
- Or by Mail: U.S. Census Bureau National Processing Center, 100 Logistics Avenue Jeffersonville, IN 47144
