Carney moves closer to family

John Chowning sends this recent update from Mark Carney:

Bam had a big milestone on his road to recovery yesterday. He got moved a little closer to home! He was transferred from Norton's to Danville. He is now at Select Speciality Hospital, which is a 24 bed facility on the 4th floor of Ephriam McDowell Regional Medical Center.

Select Speciality is a long term care facility that will hopefully and prayerfully give Bam the continued care he needs to regain his nourishment and strength. Select had not been allowing any visitors since Covid hit in March, but just this last week they adopted a visiting policy that allows one visitor to visit during the hours of 11am-4pm with the total length of your stay being 4 hours or less. While this is not as much as the 8 hours that we were getting at a previous facility we were at, we are so thankful to be able to be with him daily again as we were not able to see him the last two weeks and two days that he was at Norton's.

I got to be with Bam today. He is still weak from his latest setback, but I am already seeing signs of improvement and we are praying that God will use the doctors, nurses and staff at Select in a great and mighty way to continue to assist Bam in his healing. We know that many of you join us in this same prayer and we wish to continue to Thank You for your love and support. The address to the new facility if anyone wishes to send a card of encouragement is:
Select Specialty Hospital
Attn: Bam Carney Room 419
217 S 3rd St. 4th Floor
Danville, KY 40422
