Rachel Gail Dotson, 38, Edmonton, KY (1982-2020) Rachel Gail Dotson of Edmonton passed away on Friday, August 14, 2020 at the T. J. Samson Community Hospital. She was 38 years old. Funeral services will be held at 11amCT on Tuesday, August 18, 2020, at the Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home, 210 Greensburg St., Columbia, KY, with Bro. Darrell Coffey officiating. Burial will follow in the Milltown Cemetery. Visitation will be on Monday from 4pmCT until 8pmCT, and will continue on Tuesday morning until time for the service at the funeral home. For the health and respect of the family, please follow all rules for social distancing and The Healthy at Work Guidelines. Everyone attending will be required to wear a mask or face covering. Born April 5, 1982, in Campbellsville, KY she is the daughter of Jewell Wade and Sandra Chrisman Dotson of Edmonton who survives. Rachel was of the Christian faith and enjoyed country music and spending time with her family. In addition to her parents she is survived by her two sons Dusty Chamberlain and Austin Burris both of Columbia; her maternal grandmother Mattie Chrisman; two sisters Amy Curry and Ruby Janes both of Columbia; three brothers Kenny Dotson of Columbia, Jewell Dotson of Greensburg and Randall Dotson of Edmonton; several nieces, nephews and other friends and relatives also survive. She was preceded in death by a niece Tasha Bryant. Pallbearers will be Anthony Taylor, Jason Bennett, Jeff Tomblin, Donnie Chamberlain, Rodney Moss and Junior Harris. In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to the funeral home to assist the family with funeral expenses. Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
