Helen Fay Bottoms, 81, Knifley, KY (1939-2020) Helen Fay Bottoms of Knifley passed away on Friday, July 31, 2020, at Liberty Care and Rehab. She was 81 years old. The graveside service will be held at at 2pmCT/3pmET on Sunday, August 2, 2020, at New Hope Cemetery in Adair County, Kentucky. The family will receive friends from 2pmET to 4pmET on Saturday, August 1, 2020, at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home, 752 Campbellsville St, Liberty, KY. Please enter through the front doors (Campbellsville Street side) of the funeral home when you arrive for visitation. Social distancing guidelines must be followed by everyone in attendance. Facial coverings ARE required. Born on June 19, 1939, in Neatsville, Kentucky, she was a daughter of the late Lindsey Holmes and Thelma Neat Bryant. Fay was a seamstress. She was a great cook, a loving person, and loved the color red. Fay is survived by her husband, Buel Madison Bottoms of Knifley; three sons, Terry Madison Bottoms of Hope, Indiana; Johnny Ray (Paula) Bottoms of Bargersville, Indiana, and Richard Allen Bottoms of Knifley; a daughter, Debbie Fay (Larry) McCartey of Elizabethtown, Indiana; seventeen grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren. Also surviving is a sister, Rachel Burton of Adair County. She is preceded in death by two sisters, Ruth Wright and Ruby Rice.
