Norma Jean Absher, 71, Green Co., KY (1948-2020) Norma Jean Wathen Absher of Green Co. passed away on Sunday, July 26, 2020 at her home in Greensburg. She was 71 years old. Funeral services for Mrs. Norma Jean Wathen Absher will be conducted at 1pmCT on Wednesday, July 29, 2020, at the Foster-Toler-Curry Funeral Home, 209 W Court St., Greensburg, KY, with Bro. Gordon Berry officiating. Burial will follow in the Aetna Grove Cemetery. A walk-through visitation is requested from 5pmCT until 8pmCT on Tuesday, July 28, 2020 at the funeral home. Mrs. Norma Jean Wathen Absher was born December 6, 1948 in Green County, Kentucky to the late Ray Gordon Wathen and Gracie Evelyn Bale Wathen. She had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of Aetna Grove Baptist Church. She was a retired Home Health Aid. She was united in marriage to Barry Absher on September 26, 1966. Besides her husband, she is survived by one son: Douglas O'Neal Absher of Bradenton, Florida; one daughter: Alecia Ralyn Absher of Greensburg; two sisters and brothers-in-law: Suzy and William Berry and Linda and Phillip Dobson of Greensburg; one brother-in-law and sister-in-law: Gene Dale and Jeanetta Holmes of Columbia; special friends: Stella Durrett, Kynslee Bloyd and Kree Bloyd; Plus a host of nieces and nephews and other relatives and friends. Pallbearers: Nathan Berry, Josh Dobson, Jason "Farmer" Milby, Lloyd Willis, Jason Berry, Adam Gentry, Gene Dale Holmes, and Louis Judd Foster-Toler-Curry Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
