Freida Elliott, 73, Casey Co., KY (1947-2020) Freida Elliott, formerly of Casey County, passed away on Monday, July 13, 2020, at Somerwoods Nursing Home in Somerset. She was 73 years old. The funeral service will be held at 10amET on Saturday, July 18, 2020, at Ferndale Baptist Church, with Bro. David Terwilliger officiating. Facial coverings ARE required. Burial will follow in Valley Oak Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 9amET to 10amET on Saturday, July 18, 2020, at Ferndale Baptist Church. Born on February 6, 1947, in Indiana, she was a daughter of the late Paul Holmes and Edna Ross. Freida was a homemaker. She was a member of Ferndale Baptist Church. She enjoyed cooking and gardening. She is survived by two daughters, Flora (Leo) D'Souza and Vickie (Frank) Brammer, both of Charlotte, North Carolina; and three grandchildren, Sabrina D' Souza, Hannah Brammer, and Michael Brammer. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Okla Harold Elliott; and a son, Jeffrey Okla Elliott. Memorial contributions may take the form of donations to Ferndale Baptist Church c/o David Terwilliger at 819 Poodledoo Road, Liberty, KY 42539 or Valley Oak Cemetery c/o Marvin Godbey at 3451 S.
