Family Fun Packs from the Adair Co. Extension Service By Teresa Bright Adair County Cooperative Extension Service Turn the summer of 2020 into a memory-making experience for the entire family. Being active is good for your body and your mind. Have fun, be mindful, make connections, laugh, and keep learning to stay active and independent in life. Beginning Wednesday, July 15, 2020, "Family Fun Packs" will be available at the Adair County Extension Office. The Family Fun Packs are free, and available while supplies last. We encourage one Family Fun Pack per family unit. We also ask that you sign in to receive your Family Fun Pack, and please follow the social distancing guidelines as you arrive to receive your pack. You will not need to enter the Extension Office building -- the Family Fun Packs will be available for front porch pick-up at the Extension Office, 409 Fairground Street, Columbia. For more information on the summer activity "Family Fun Packs", call the Adair County Extension Office at 270-384-2317. The packs will include items that can help you maintain physical and social activity, as well as safety guidelines for you to follow. The packs include information on how to have family activities for the outdoors, and include Frisbees and footballs. Recipes using Kentucky Proud products will be included in your Family Fun Pack as well, and food and nutrition ideas to help spice up your summer! This story was posted on 2020-07-14 06:10:04
