Ronald E. Blair, 66

Ronald E. Blair, 66, 16670 Liberty Road, Columbia, KY (the Pellyton Community) passed away suddenly, Wednesday, June 23, 2004, at 7:51 p.m., at the Westlake Regional Hospital Emergency Room.

The funeral service will be Saturday, June 26, 2004, at 11:00 a.m., at the Barnetts Creek United Methodist Church near Pellyton, KY, with Rev. John Blakey, Rev. Troy Long, Rev. Larry Lemmon, and Rev. Michael Lemmon officiating.

He was the son of the late Elvin and Irene Sanders Blair of Adair County, KY.

Mr. Blair attended the Barnetts Creek United Methodist Church.

He was retired from Parker-Kalon, Campbellsville, Ky, after 34 years service.

He is survived by the following:
  • His wife: Joyce Adams Blair, Columbia
  • One son: Greg Blair, Columbia
  • One daughter: Rhonda Beck, Columbia, KY
  • Three brothers: Wilbert Blair, Columbia; Charles Blair, Mt. Orab, Ohio; and Winford Blair, Columbia
  • Four grandchildren: Stephen Beck; Kent Greer, Hannah Greer, Leah Greer and their father, Daryl Greer, Knifley, KY
  • And several nieces, nephews, and a host of friends.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Bobby Joe Blair, in 1998; and a son-in-lawJack Gordon Beck, Jr., in 1982.

Interment will be in the Barnetts Creek Cemetery.

The family requests visitation after 4:00 p.m., Friday, June 25, 2004 at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home. Columbia, KY.
