Daisy ''Red'' Burris, 78 Daisy "Red" Burris, 78, a resident of Summit Manor Nursing Home, Columbia, KY, formerly of the Vester Community, passed away Wednesday, June 23, 2004, at 2:55 a.m., at the nursing Home. The funeral will be Friday, June 25, 2004, at 1:00 p.m. at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home, with Bro. Ralph Foster officiating. She was born December 9, 1925, the daughter of the late Otis Burton and Gracie Burton McQueary McQueary and the widow of Lester Burris, who preceded her in death on October 1, 1995. She is survived by the following:
Mrs. Burris was retired from Fruit of the Loom in Campbellsville. Interment will be in Bearwallow Cemetery. Visitation will be after 3:30 p.m., Thursday, June 24, 2004, at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home in Columbia, KY. Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
