Delie Burton, 94 Delie Burton, 94, a resident of Summit Manor Nursing Home, Columbia, KY, formerly of the Christine Community, passed away Thursday, June 17, 2004, at 11:43 p.m., at the nursing home. The funeral will be Monday, June 21, 2004, at 1:00 p.m., at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home, with Dr. Greg Burton officiating. She was the daughter of the late W.P. "Pete" and Maudie Ann Burton McQueary and was preceded in death by her husband, Johnny F. Burton, on September 25, 1985. She is survived by the following:
Delie Burton was a member of the Purdy Separate Baptist Church, custodian at Shepherd Grade Center for several years, and a homemaker. Burial will be in Haven Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be after 5:00 p.m. CDT, Sunday, June 20, 2004, at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home. Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
