Mattie M. Murrell, 97 Mattie M. Murrell, 97, 138 Holmes Bend Road, Columbia, KY, passed away Monday, June 14, 2004, at 6:30 a.m., at Westlake Regional Hospital. The funeral service will be Wednesday, June 16, 2004, at 1:00 p.m., at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home, with Bro.Terry White and Bro. Raymond Martin officiating. Mrs. Murrell was the daughter of the late Willie Jacob and Ellen Henson Beard and the widow of James A. Murrell, who preceded her in death on April 4, 2002. She is survived by the following:
Pallbearers: Richard Murrell, Randal Murrell, Daniel Adams, Darren Adams, Jeff Brockman, and Brian Brunning. Interment will be in Haven Hill Cemetery. Expressions of sympathy are suggested to Columbia Christian Church Building Fund and may be left at the funeral home. Expressions of sympathy are also suggested to Gideon Bibles. Visitation is after 4:30 p.m., Tuesday, June 15, at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home.
