Vina E. Stotts, 87

Vina E. Stotts, age 87 years, of 255 Keith and Stotts Road, Columbia, KY (the Fairplay Community) passed away Saturday, June 5, 2004 at 10:16 a.m. at the Westlake Regional Hospital in Columbia.
She was the daughter of the late J. C. and Julie Ann Brown Spoon of Adair County, Kentucky.

Mrs. Stotts was preceded in death by her husband, Arvest Lester Stotts on July 27, 1995.

She is survived by two sons and one daughter:

  • Arlis Stotts and wife, Martha, of Columbia, KY
  • Steve Stotts and his wife Sharon, of Fairlplay, KY
  • Rosetta Samuell and her husband Gary, of Glensfork, KY
11 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, and one step-grandchild survive, plus several neices, nephews and friends.

Mrs. Stotts was preceded in death by one infant son, Gailon Stotts, and by 4 brothers, 4 sisters, and 1 grandson.

She was a member of the Old Concord United Methodist Church and a homemaker.

The funeral service was Tuesday, June 8, 2004 at 1:00 p.m. at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home. Clergy officiating: Rev. Sam Burris and Rev. Elbert Hadley. Interment in the McClister Cemetery, Fairplay, KY.
